Warm Greetings to all,

Thank you for your support in electing me to the VT State Senate for 4 terms. As I start my campaign for re-election, I want to describe how I approach my work.

As much as possible, I try to step out of old silos of Democratic and Republican thinking. I am pragmatic, unattached to any particular ideology. Aware of destructive ego-based decisions, I try to maintain an emphasis on holistic systemic thinking while embracing strategies that support job creation, a balanced budget, sustainable energy, better educational systems, affordable quality healthcare and environmental integrity. As the natural world revieals, we are all connected!

Someone once said you cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealth out of prosperity. 

WE need to increase economic opportunity for all!
